California has always been known for its progressive, liberal ideas. The state wows the nation again as it begins making cleaner, greener energy available to a vast number of its residents this week. Solar power is on the rise on the west coast, and within California, twenty five percent of households claimed solar energy as a major energy source within their house.
In order to help boost that percentage, Governor Jerry Brown signed S.B. 43 into effect. This law will allow the remaining seventy five percent of Californians to have access to some sort of clean, renewable energy. The law is giving more than six thousand jobs to the state of California, and pumping in a nice two billion dollars into the economy. Anyone who wants access to solar energy within the state can get it, despite their credit scores or means of income to cover the cost of installation.
